I work with clients all over the world, both individuals deepening their practice and Pilates instructors looking to level-up their careers.
HOW I GOT HERE
Pilates balanced my hypermobility with strength, eliminated my hip pain for the first time in years, and made it possible for me to dance again.
But fresh out of my certification program, when my first client with a back injury walked in, I realized that knowing the exercises wasn't the same as knowing how to adapt my programming to actually serve them.
I continued dancing through college, using Pilates as cross-training, all while studying biology and planning on a career in research. But the day my research job lost funding, I received an email about a Pilates teaching position.
Now I help Pilates clients build strength so they can move without limitation, and teach instructors the real-world skills their certifications skip, so they can make an impact while building a profitable, fulfilling business—bringing the same care, expertise, and genuine support to both.
After that realization, I spent years filling in the gaps of what my program didn’t teach me so I could confidently work with any client who walked through my door.
As a lifelong learner with training in dance, biology, and STOTT PILATES®, my approach lives at the intersection of body mechanics expertise and the artistry of movement.

MY PHILOSOPHY, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
My science background taught me to ask why, seek patterns, and experiment—and that researcher's mindset has never left me. I bring the same curiosity and problem-solving approach to creating safe, effective workouts for clients and giving instructors the deep understanding they need to serve every body with confidence.

“I love how Alyssa designs the flow of the class & always makes the sessions challenging, efficient, and also safe for my body.”
I also love how she cues me to engage the right groups of muscles and explains what I was doing wrong. She gives great and useful tips to help me improve my spinal articulation and strength. Alyssa is an amazing instructor!

“Alyssa’s warmth and knowledge are truly unmatched. As a new instructor finding my way, she made me feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported.”
Her teaching style is incredible—every question is answered comprehensively and with a strong evidence-based approach, delivered in a way that is easy to understand and apply. I couldn’t recommend this platform more, especially for new teachers who, like me, may feel vulnerable or unsupported at times.
